Fertility and Perinatal Support

With advanced training from Postpartum Support International, I am passionate about supporting patients through family planning decision making, fertility related concerns, and pregnancy and postpartum mental health.

Navigating fertility issues can be incredibly isolating, upsetting, and stressful. I work very closely with my patients to ensure that they have a supportive space to work through the complexity of navigating fertility and family planning related decisions, medically and personally. Decision making around, for example,  IVF, egg donor, sperm donor, surrogate, and adoption each have their own set of considerations, and I am passionate about helping families make decisions that truly align with their values and preferences.

I also support my patients through pregnancy and postpartum journeys, focusing on the adjustments that happen physically and emotionally during these times, prioritizing their health and well-being. Pressures placed on what the pregnancy and postpartum experience “should” be like can cause distress and isolation if you’re not having that experience. Additionally, pregnancy and postpartum periods can be vulnerable periods of time for experiencing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), which can include, for example, depression, anxiety, or OCD during and after pregnancy. Early intervention is key for the treatment of PMADs and for the overall well-being of parent and child. If you are at higher risk for a PMAD, or are currently experiencing a PMAD, please don’t hesitate to reach out today.
